We were delighted to partner with Bea Sweet and sponsor the skincare backstage at the Art School SS21 LFW show. With the ethos and background behind Art School and Bea's work so similar to us here at Monroe, collaborating and supporting both sides was a no brainer!
So what is Art School?
ART SCHOOL is a genderless label based in London, focused on redefining the limitations of ready to wear fashion. Directed by Eden Loweth, the label is a platform to express ideas both in design and art using luxury fashion as a communicative tool to explore contemporary queerness. The designer has worked with some of the most prominent emerging designers of the times including LVMH prize winner Grace Wales Bonner.
Who's Bea Sweet?
Bea is a multi-disciplinary makeup artist with over 64.6k followers on Instagram. She creates mind-blowing beauty looks for the Instagram generation. Her epic portfolio consists of the likes of Erykah Badu, FKA Twigs, Dua Lipa, Beauty Papers, Kenzo, Dazed and Vogue.
The hero products:
The Monroe Moisturiser SPF20 was a clear skincare hero backstage due to it' lightweight, sheer texture and its ability to be used across all genders and binary. Bea and her team used the Monroe Moisturiser SPF20 to prep 52 models skin before applying makeup. The Monroe Matte Styling Clay was also used on the eyebrows, giving them a natural, tame finish.
